Hi tnx but i do not think so/ am not shure, i have had Platydoras costatus in the past, this one i caught was pitch black all over, no white line on it.

Vieuwed from above L400 is more plump compare to L399 which is more slender.

Difficult one....

On head shape I would tend to say female. But looking at it's thick pectorialfins and the odonthodes on it I would say male.

Agreed, like to add the male bodyshape as well and the lack of pronounced odonthodes on the gills.
Can you tell something on behaviour?

Nice one :)

Enjoy it while it lasts, it will grow normal later on.
Some zebra's are even born white without stripes and suddenly get the stripes after 6-12 months.
