They charge $79.99 per gold nugget here in Hawaii at the LFS since they are illegal to import. I dont know how they get them in, but they sell quick at that price. I really want some but im not about to pay Zebra pl*co prices for them. So (Hint) if anyone was to accidentally shipped me a package of...

And the lfs that got these for me says they will take all I can produce. The owner admits not knowing much about them and doesn't believe I can get them to spawn. You didn't happen to pick that pair up on a trip to New Orleans did you? Just curious because I gave an LFS here a pair and noticed they...

My email was answered today. Here it is: Hi Clay, I really don't know, since they are hiding somewhere. The last time I saw them clearly was two months ago (sized about 2.5 cm) and the size of the head seemed like a Panaque to me. Once I get another glance of them, I will definitely take some shots ...

This one is preety good. When I go to Houston, I usually stop by:
http://www.fishrushouston.com
I believe it is a little bit North of the Woodlands, but not to far
Of course, the pleco selection probably doesn't match what you can get

I have had no success with gold nuggets what so ever. I have had success with goldies (L-14). I find these to be even prettier fish, except they do get to be a foot long. I just traded mine into the LFS, as I am in the process of switching over to a planted aquarium, and this fish had a tendency to ...
