Well, I took the information to the place where I bought my mustard spotted pleco and they said, nope, it's not the orange spotted pleco. It's a relatively newer species on the market, and the supplier gave them the name of Panaque Galaxias. So I guess the name on the website I found is correct.

I have 2 tanks.

One is my 8 year old sons 10 gallon with a female and male swordtail pair, 1 albino and 1 julii corry. This tank has an aquaclear mini.

My other tanks is a 50 gallon tank.

I have 2 mated pairs of kribensis, 13 harlequin rasbora hexs, a mustard spotted pleco, 2 albino corys, 2 ...

If anybody can tell me the scientific name of the Mustard Spot Pleco, I'd be very grateful.

I've seen it listed as Panaque Galaxias but it had a ? beside it as if the author wasn't sure.

I'm curious, as I've had my little guy for 1/2 a year now and love him/her to pieces. I'd like to know more ...
