I know your fry are not livebearers, but I have guppies with my corys. The corys hang out right below the guppy giving birth and whatever fry lands where the corys are they do eat them.

They are three weeks old now. One of them escaped to the main tank (long story) so I have three atleast. How long before they are big enough to survive in the main tank? I dont know if the other one got eaten or not. Ive only saw it once, right after it got in there.

The four fry are eleven days old now. They look like they have doubled in size. How long will it take until they can go into the main tank?

I also found more eggs today and put some in with the fry. But then I thought if they fungus, that wouldnt be good for the fry. So should I take them out ...

The extra one I have is a preset 78deg one. Ill try that it. I just thought with barely 2g of water it would heat up too much. But they seem to be doing fine floating in the main tank.

Ill change my profile. I live in the southeast part of USA.

I have an extra heater but since the 5g is only
about a 1/3 full I thought the water would get too
warm. :?

first time fry

Hi everyone.

This is my first post. I have had my corys(bronze) for alittle over a year now. They have spawned 4 times I think. And this is the first time I have had any eggs to hatch. There are only 4 fry, but hey Im happy with that.

I had moved some of the eggs into a five gal. tank.
Four hatch ...
