Hi, as far as I know, Hypancistrus sp. "lower Xingu" stands for at least 3 Types of Hypancistrus sp. Some of them are really beautyful and are often sold als l 173, l 236 or l 345. Last month I bought 8 as l 333 sim 236. I seperated them out of an mixed tank. Really nice fish. Problem is: ...

Hi, nice plecos. Very nice. I think I have the same kind here, bought as l 287 imported by Aquarium Glaser / Germany. I think it is impossible to identify them. Hi, in November 2007 I bought a small group of the illustrated catfish - fortunately I got a pair among the group. The animals were offered as Hypancistrus sp L 287 the alleged habitat is the Rio Do Para. But L 287 is not a valid number. L 400 should be correct, but these fish have not very much in ...
