Last year i managed to get my hands on Eremophilus mutisii.It is very beatiful and peacefull trichomycteridae.I got four of those.Basic colour is green with lots of ornamenrtal marks.They were round 15-30cm.Sadly they carried some intraspecific disease which didn`t affect to any other fishes.Two die...

I use only very small gravel 1-2mm, it works fine, nothing get trap in, fish poop stay at bottom surface and as I have a very strong flow in them , it is not easily carried away by the flow... still does a little bit!!!! I`m aware of that.They are eating well freeze dried foods and looks healthy.I have kept them only one month.We`ll see what happens.Very good jumpers though-i`ve lost two of them in that way.I try to contact today the importer and ask the origin of this species.I`ll post better pictures in a week or ...

No :( In that certain"red" Panaque the hole body was red.In your picture is L27a orL27b(don`t remember) from Tapajos.We have those at the moment in one shop.

I am not 100% sure that it is g. lampris, but given that many more Glyptothorax from Thailand than from those from India appear in the aquarium trade, I think that G. lampris is the most likely bet. In aquarien atlas vol 5 were same looking fish like mine.Text said G. cf. laosensis.You are expert on asian catfishes so what are the main differences between laosensis and lampris?Why do you think that this fish is G lampris?

I have these 7 of theseGlyptothorax sp. fishes but don`t know the exact species.Could they be G. laosensis.They were sold in one store under the name G. platypogon.
