A mid-month announcement to let you all know about a few new things on the site.

What do you know about lipbrooders? If the answer is something along the lines of "what's a lipbrooder?" then Andy White's article on Spawning Loricaria cf. simillima is a good starting place. Although complete, we will be adding even more pictures and text to this over the next few weeks. Thanks to Shane for pulling it together in an editorial sense.

New contributor Mika Kaukonen has sent in some cool pics of catfish you don't see too often, worth checking out for the excellent quality of photography alone.

Finally, we have launched the PlanetCatfish "Hall of Fame". This page recognises those people who have donated some of their hard earned cash to help with the running costs of the site. With the addition of the new forum (and if you didn't know about that, what Planet have you been on J) the monthly running costs have gone up to around US$60 a month. Using paypal.com you can help shoulder this burden and ensure the continuing availability of the site - if every user of the site gave just $5 right now we would be running for some time.

You can donate anonymously, but if you give your forum username with the donation, we will put you into the "hall of fame" and indeed adjust your ranking on the forum itself.

Lots more in the pipeline, will announce again soon I hope.
