just got this baby from lfs but not sure which catfish it is. About 6-7inches at the moment. Any help would be appreciated.

Agree. That or (less likely) one of the close look-alikes in the genus of the Aluminum aka African-big-eyed catfishes. Mine two reached ~12" TL in 5 years and stopped growing.
