current Akysis species 2 ...

These were bought as Akysis hendricksoni. I would appreciate opinions on their id.

Yes, thank you, Silurus! Finally I am confident in what species I have (and had in the past). Eric, you may use any of the pics of sisorids (Glyptothorax schmidti, G. cavia, G. fuscus, G. sinensis, Hara filamentosa) and akysids (A. ephippifer, A. vespa, A. vespertinus) in my previous posts as well, if they worth to, of course. All ids were made by Silurus.
And again thank you all for that enormous amount of invaluable info on catfish!

Hi Dmitry,

Okay, I scoured through your recent posts and I uploaded photos of each of the different species I found. However, I did not find photos of A. ephippifer or A. vespa (although there was a thread where you thought you had vespa, but they turned out to be Akysis prashadi, and I did post those). So really, it's just the ephippifer I didn't find. Did I miss something?

@Jools, Here is an interesting note about the search tool: If you click on the link to search all of the forum posts belonging to dmcat, and then search within these for either vespa or ephippifer, neither of these searches discover the thread Silurus cited, I suspect because these names appear only within image descriptions and within CLOG links in this thread. I am surprised to discover this.
