I need help to identify my pimlodella please
I bought this catfish the other day it caught my eye and I had to have it but the store from where I got it are unsure as to what it is exactly and so I don't know much information about it they said it is a pimelodella but that is it any help is greatly appreciated

It does look like a but these things are typically impossible to ID to species from photos.

Ok thanks for the reply I have it in my 350l tank so plenty of room for it but not sure of size and growth rate

It won't get big, 10-15cm depending on species, they can get to this size pretty quickly - in a year or two typically. Pretty straightforward otherwise.

Thanks it will be fine then in my tank never really been into catfish until I caught 1 in a lake whilst out fishing with the father in law amazing creature and stunning

I've had several of these from the genus. They are quirky, interesting, inquisitive fish. My male had a fa-a-ar longer upper caudal lobe.
It'd be nice to see more photos (right side up) and videos of your fish and tank.
