Hi chachaman50,

I'm not certain, but I believe your pleco is a Peckoltia, perhaps ... Just a guess, I'm not sure.

Hopefully someone else will confirm.

I'd say and not just as that is what the much more likelier species to find and the former has sparser, smaller spotting on the head.
