New Olyra from India

Post by Shovelnose »

Tenali, DR, R Chandran, RK Singh & UK Sarkar, 2025. Olyra sancta, a New Species of Anguilliform Catfish
(Teleostei: Bagridae) from Arunachal Pradesh, India. Inland Water Biology 2025.

I am told this paper is published and even received a copy. However, it is not present in the journal website and the DOI doesn't work, I am unsure what to make of it.

Sergeant: Not stone, sir.
Major: They're very good scissors!!

Usually takes a while to resolve DOIs. If there is no ZooBank LSID in the paper, then the name is not available anyway.

Hey HH, looks like there's no ZooBank LSID in the paper, I guess that resolves it.

That said, Inland Water Biology is a hybrid journal, so the name will become available once the print copy comes out.
