Pleco for 55 Gallon

I looking for a good medium sized, interesting looking for pleco for my 55 gallon tank. Thanks in advance.

Do you have more particular requirements/qualifications? (e.g., how much poop will you tolerate? do you mind if they hide 24/7?)

There are so many plecs that will do just fine in a 55 I don't know where to start...… are you looking for a plecs that is colorful or out and about a lot? Are you wanting to breed them or just for show? Off the top of my head a L75 gets to around 8" to 9", very attractive, and doesn't hide as much as some plecs do.

I just want 1 pleco in the tank and I defiantly do not want it to hide all of the time. I wish that the l239 got to be like 6-7 inches. thx for responses so far.
