c. aeneus "black"

Post by Catinthehat »

Hi
I was wondering how common or uncommon are the black c.aeneus and do they breed in the same manner.
Thanks Les

The C. aeneus 'Blacks' do breed true, and in typical Cory fashion. They were originally bred in the Czech Republic. I have a group that breed quite regularly and only occasionaly do I get one that is not black but a dark reddish brown.

Yann,

There are a number of people that are breeding these here in the UK, they are not very difficult.

Ian
Do you know of anyone breeding them in Canada or even the U.S. I would really like to get some . Your LFS seem to carry alot more of the uncommon corys then ours do..
Thanks for your time
