Hi All,
In doing some literature research on peat swamps, I found a paper saying that (and another species in the same genus) is found there, at least in the North Selangor peat swamp forest (NSPSF), Selangor (REFERENCE HERE). But our CLOG page for this species states that it likes clear fast flowing water. While I get that fish can have a wide distribution, is this species just a really adaptable species? Or is the peat swamp finding more of a fluke, maybe an isolated population or someplace the species accepts sub-optimally?
I'm asking out of curiosity. I don't have the fish but I'm puzzled by the report.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers, Eric
