L114 feeding regimen
L114
Hi, ive just bought a new L114 3 inch and was wondering what the beat dietry plan was. I know they eat shrimp/prawns/fish as well as algae waffers and pellets but how much and often for the best health. Cheers.
L114 feeding regimen
Hi i have just purchased a L114 and although i know what they eat most sites dont explain the feeding regimen. Mine is only 3inch so how often should i feed algae waffers and shrimp pellets etc each week. It seems algae waffers each night removing left over the next day. Then shrimp etc 2 times a week with an occasional treat of fruit or veg. Is that about right. Just want to make sure of a routine. Thanks.

Re: L114 feeding regimen
I don't have L114 but I do have a 6" L24 who appears happy, healthy and well-fed.
She likes mostly fish and shellfish based food so I feed 'human' foods including small prawns, mussels, and chunks of white fish (cod/haddock) and occasionally scallops.
She also eats tetra prima and new era catfish pellets, but the 'real' foods are much preferred over pellets. Just occasionally she'll munch on a chunk of courgette I put in for some of the other tank inhabitants.
Algae wafers are of no interest at all!
Hope that helps a bit?

Re: L114 feeding regimen
I usually alternate between pellets one day and prawn or mussel the next day, with vegetables maybe once a week.
They're are others on here with much more experience of feeding Pseudas so hopefully they'll chip in.
