I know I've been a bit scarce lately, but I thought I'd drop off an installment of pictures from the project I've been working on! We're in the process of opening a small fish store so I can stop having so many people over at the house all the time ;). These are some of the pictures of the construction. We're planning the grand opening for the first weekend in January.

This was the first part of the "building" process:

Then came the pallets and pallets of stuff to put together:

Then the plumbing and more plumbing:

This is the view from the loft stairs, looking at the freshwater section now:

And here's the saltwater section, finally up and running:

This is the front entryway/foyer area, with the display tank, coffee pot, and customer use computer. What else could you possibly need?

I know I've been promising pictures forever, so hopefully this will suffice ;). There are more pictures here if you're a true glutton for punishment ;).

That's sure looking good Barbie. Great job. Let's have some more pix when all tanks are filled with fishes.
Btw: what happened to the Bob-fish? Did you already sell it?

. There are already quite a few things I'd like to expand and do, but I'm just about out of ambition for anything for a while I think

Well the idea is for it to be a store where I can keep with everything by myself, with no employees. The hubby will help on his days off, but I have to be able to keep up with stocking and customers and what not. The only way a business plan would work for a store in our area is to keep the overhead really low, so that's what I'm trying to do

. Hopefully it will be successful. Our grand opening is in a week! YEEK! All the stuff I still need to get done!

Everyone is welcome to come visit btw ;). I'll even help make reservations at a hotel close to the store and provide airport shuttle service ;).
