peppermint & royal pleco

Post by Damion »

Was never into Plecos until I found this site to ID the black lancer. Went out and got a 4" Royal and Peppermint for $20 & $19 U.S. How did I do?
Trying to find a zebra pleco but they are very rare at lfs.

Graeme,

They are freely available in the East Midlands. I know of two shops that have retained stock for over a year. £50 each.

Don't forget that your Royal will get somewhat fiesty as he grows up. How large is your tank? The Gold Nugget can get rather large as well! My Royal killed my Zebra, so keep an eye out for aggression, the Zebras can't handle too much from the larger plecos!

Hi u want to create a good community tank, u got to have the right no. of driftwoods, also make sure that all ur plecs are able to eat!! Try to add some rocks that make caves this will lessen the aggression :)
Too many gorgeous loricariids
