My Cats pages

All~

Just to let you know I've started a major overhaul of this facility. It has proved popular with 175 or so users in the first couple of months. It now needs optimized from a database point of view (it is currently slow and resource heavy) and also hardened from a security point of view.

Things will break and change during this process, feel free to comment or report issues in this thread please. Once it's up and running and clear of reported bugs, I'll resolve this topic.

This is a big job, I've done the first bit however and we now have a My Cats user page and a My Cats species page. The former is completed for now, the latter is about 60% working.

http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/my_cats_users.php
http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/my ... pecies.php

To do this, I've migrated a lot of the information onto another database table, that will take time to populate.

If you no longer see your "my cats" link at the bottom of your forum posts, and can't wait until google catches up with the site to re-index the new table, then go to a cat-elog page for one of your species, scroll down to the registered keepers section and click on your name. Doing so will refresh the database with up-to-date details.

After I've done what you've suggested Jools I can see me on ordered by name list so it was a false alarm! ;).

Regards.
