Cat-eLog has this to say about
C. sp. aff.
milesi (
)
This species is from Venezuela, where strict export restrictions make it very unlikely to appear in the trade - and it most [certainly] has never been exported for the trade.
(My correction in brackets)
So, unless it was smuggled out of Venezuela, it's not sp. aff. milesi.
There are dozens of fairly similar species of
Chaetostoma and not all the exported ones are described or L-numbered, which doesn't help the identification process.
However, they are fairly common in behaviour and husbandry. Important criteria are: cool water and lots of dissolved oxygen.
I wouldn't recommend keeping it together with
, as it's most likely not going to like the higher temperature that the L239 will prefer. The
Chaetostoma will prefer temperatures in the low 20'C/70'F range, whilst the L239 prefer the mid-to-high 20'C/70-80'F range.
