I was working in this power station and just hanging out by the engineering stores when this guy went up to the storeman and said "I need a 0-25mm micrometer and a 14lb sledgehammer please", what do you think he was going to do with this combination of tools?
you would be surprised by the amount of times I've used heavy hammers in combination with mic's. its what i would call "a little gentile persuasion, usually lining up rudder stocks and bushings etc. always amusing when people see you walking around with a sledge and a micrometer tho
Back again!
Possibly got the overheating problem sorted now, however when I got back the water was like pea soup. A massive algae bloom, so bad that you could not see the fishes as they took food from the surface!!!!!!!
I have fitted a UV sterilizer now and so hopefully the problem is sorted.
I have to go away again on monday so Kath will probably have three weeks of disasters to sort out while I'm gone again!
Matt
One more bucket of water and the farce is complete.

Well I can bide my time, the foundation for the fish tank is going in soon....then it'll be goodnight Irene down with the fishy's he'll go.
Hey Matt,
I am envious of your new fish room. I have a carport about the same size ripe for modification but alas, I am broke.
The Discus are wild caught, just in good condition.
One more tease. I try to make converts.

Matt good luck with the algae, though why not put it to good use and raise some fry in it, if only as food for the catfish
Thank you for that link Worton and to Larry for the knowledge shared on that site, I see it is hosted by Ken Boorman who I met in passing at the recent ANGFA convention down this way.
