Breeding Microglanis

Post by grokefish »

I shall be attempting to breed microglanis.
My Bumblebees have bred of their own accord in the past but I never saw anything or knew why they did I just found more bees in my tank than I had put in there origionally, one day whilst stripping a tank down.
Here are my breeding specimens.

I have been researching the natural habitats of microglanis and have two tanks which I will be using.

A leaf litter slow turnover stream bank type habitat.

And a faster moving pebble strewn stream habitat

I will be feeding them with the usual live foods plus endlers fry which were present in abundance in the tank which they did it in last time.
By alternating the mix of specimens I hope to find the pair that were successful last time.
Hopefully I can have results.
