Hi Mats,
thanks but Farnham is quite a way for me unless I get DH to drive me.. And although I would love some more I don't really need any more..

Hi Alisonali12345 wrote:Hi Martin,
If you are in doubt about them I will quite happily take a few of the intermedia from you if the order comes wrong, assuming a reasonable price.
As you know I have room for lots of woodcats....

Thanks, but of the three they ordered, only one made it (a female) due to a faulty heater which stuck on the night after they arrived. I took the one specimen they had, and she is becoming more active at feeding time, even with the lights on (as Marc had already noted if keeping several with C.perugia, this could be a problem going forward as the they could outcompete for food against the more nocturnal perugia), so will keep an eye on her and see how she gets on. They are very small, only just about 1-1.5" - they do have one more at Maidenhead East Grinstead, but at the weekend it was in quarantine. I went back to Crawley yesterday and they still have four C.Perugia, smaller than mine, and was very tempted, but new tank arrives this week so could not afford £60 for the four...
If I have any problems keeping the intermedia, i know where you are

Re: Info on Tatia Galaxias
I have to say I am surprised at the speed of growth of the compared to that of the .
In less than a month the single intermedia female has grown in size from her initial 1" to almost 2", and is quite active when fed during daylight hours (which I know is something Marc had told me before), whereas the 5 perugiae still only come out when the tank lights are out and there is frozen bloodworm on offer. The perugiae, although they have filled out and probably have grown slightly since I first bought them home 5 1/2 months ago, the growth rate for these is obviously much slower than the intermedia, which based on my tank size, suits me, although if the intermedia keeps growing at this rate I may well have to think about moving her on.

I have no doubts that the intermedia will double in size (meaning 4") within the next four months.
