Anyone going?

program:
Friday 10th october:
Stéphane Vitzthum: amfibians of Lorraine

Saturday 11th october:
Uwe Werner: maintenance of cichlids
Siegfried Loose: lifestyle of Tanganyika cichlids and their capture in the lake
Yves Fermon: on the situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo at the Lake's West coast

Sunday 12th october:
Uwe Werner: on Crenicichla's
fish auction, first for AFC members, later for non members too.

for those who's French language is better than mine (wich is lousy  )
http://www.francecichlid.com/index.php? ... &Itemid=46

if I made mistakes on the translation, please feel free to fix it

I'll be there at sunday 12th, several members of the Madagroup are going and Bas Pels will be going too for the fish auction on sunday
it'll be a looooong drive.
450 kilometers in the morning, fish auction, meeting up with the Madagroupers and then the same 450km in reverse in my rickety 23 year old Toyota toaster
it's gonna be a true Road Trip with a fishy smell :beardy:

FWIW; I'm fairly easy to spot; black clothes, cowboy boots, long hair, short brown and grey beard; I basically look like a biker without a bike

workin on that, but even if I already had a fat boy it wouldn't be used for this trip; just try to get a load of fish home on one; won't work
so it's the ol' rickety Japanese Roadster that's getting slogged all over Northern France's highways

hopefully meeting any of you there!

Actually, I'll be in the parking, in order to sell some cichlids:

Asttheros robertsoni, A longimanus and Herichthys labridens Rio Tamasopo

But, after I sold them, I'll be inside too :)

Hey Sid!!!

Wish I could have come... so many good friends I haven't seen for a long time there...we could have met...who knows maybe next year...
The AFC congress is a must go to any one loving cichlids...a lot of great people there...great rare fish often sold for nothing...
There is a good chance that the F0 were imported by Jean Claude...
Nice pick ups!!
Cheers
