C054 - First Recorded Spawning

Post by Coryologist »

Greetings All. I recently had this fish's ID verified as C054. Additionally, after keeping a reverse trio of these for almost 6 years, I have my first spawn from these, with about 18 fry hatching, yesterday and a few more viable looking eggs to go. I have been told this is the first recorded spawning of the specie. I wonder how many times they spawned over the years and I never knew it? lol. A truly lovely fish, though. - Frank

Frank,

Great photo's as always. Another first for you and a nice looking fish. Look forward to seeing you at the convention.

Likewise, sir. - Frank
I used to be schizophrenic, but we're OK now. At least that's what my dog is always telling me!
