Megalechis thoracata comm with corys?
Hi
Just like to hear some opinions...is it safe to comm Megalechis thoracata with corys(in a 2 ft tank)? Are they aggressive towards corys?will they be too competitive for food to the corys?
cheers.

No problem when juvenile Hoplos are involved.Kampfer wrote:is it safe to comm Megalechis thoracata with corys(in a 2 ft tank)?
Btw: a 2 ft tank seems a bit small for thoracata. They will outgrow it pretty quickly.
No, but as they grow larger the Corys may become more and more shy. Ime corys are not very fond of large bottom dwellers.Kampfer wrote:Are they aggressive towards corys?

All things combined this is no good combination imo.

They are eating machines. Just one might be okay, but a group would definitely be problematic.Kampfer wrote:will they be too competitive for food to the corys?
