What cory is this?

Hi,
i 've 3 of these cory since about jan 1999, but i'm not able to identify the name neither the seller was able at the time to name them.
They're not C. melanistus

I woulg say that your fishis a mature C. agassizii my picture shows a juvenile.

i'm not sure... i've seen some photos of adult C. agassii, but the pattern is quite different from mine... C. agassizii has a dashed pattern mine a dotted one and the strip of color between the eyes and mouth is not so yellow, just lightly shining yellow-green strip of color in mine.

Without seeing the head fully it is a little difficult, the only other possibility would be C. delphax but C. agassizii along with C. ambiacus have very variable colour patterns cannot be defined exactly. Can you post another picture?

The golden yellow colour is not part of the fishes colour pattern, it is more of a sheen that shows when the fish is in good condition. All Cory's have this potential.

you were right, they are C. agassizi, i've now bought Aqualog all Corydoras and i've seen the photos.
