That sounds extremely big for albino corys - i'd certainly like to see a pic :?:

woah!!! albino hoplos??! first i've ever seen!!! well done on the find!! they're definitely not corys. barbels are too long. and the fontanel part of the head looks too flattened to be a cory.

It seems I have confused you (maybe others).

The pics of albino are from the Cat-eLog,
not the original poster, walshy317.

We are still waiting for his pics of the "2 huge albino corys".

There are a few 'jumbo corys' in my local P@H that I saw today whilst letting my son see the rabbits :)

They were priced at £10 and say they are 'Jumbo Albino Corydoras' however the largest one (about 5" by estimate through the glass) had bronze cory colouration. there was a 'jumbo albino' in there but it was smaller @ about 4".

Some piccies of the fish I spoke about above but you'll have to take my word for size

This is the Albino one which is the smallest at about 4" nose to end of tail:
Image

This is the 'peppered' one which is about 4.5" nose to end of tail:
Image

And this is the one that I was talking about, similar to bronze in colour and about 5"
Image

So as guide of my 'guesstimates' My blacks - female is just over 3" (3½ max) nose to tail and the males about 2.5". About normal (I think)

A 4" C. aeneus isn't beyond comprehension. They are listed as 3" in the Cat-eLog, but that's SL, and total length they would certainly reach close to 4".

P@H == Pest at Home? They are all getting the fish centrally, so anything in one shop will (almost certainly) be available in any other shop of the same size.
