Anybody going to the ACA?

Post by dconnors »

Just wondering if anyone is going to the ACA at the end of the month in Cincy? This is my first one and was curious if anyone will have catfish and plecos for sale there? Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

I'll be "going", but for me it's only a 5 mile drive.

People both local and not are starting to list things on our clubs web site that will be for sale at the event. Look on the for sale forum of our web site
http://www.gcas.org

I have a good supply of Orange laser cory fry ready to go, but my plecs (L-201, L-333 and L-134) that were breeding last winter stopped this spring so no fry available. I know there are quite a few catfish breeders both locally and nearby Columbus, Ohio and Indianapolis, Ind. that should be here too.

Looking forward to the ACA

Steve

I will be there. I am not sure what catfish will be in ready in time for this event. I currently have and fry/juveniles that I am raising. My are spawning but I have been unable to raise a lot of them yet. Maybe I will have some in time for next year's catfish convention? Fingers crossed.

Geez, wish I could go especially considering this year's theme " Fish Wars, the Hybrid Menace!". That's a topic that needs more attention.

Have a good time and let us know if you find any goodies. The Sturisomatichthys sp`colombia` and Tatia intermedia from fishboy20 would be a nice treat.
Racing, shoes and fish. Nothing else matters. Oh, and bacon.

I'm planning on going. I'm planning on bringing some L333, L134, L260, and maybe some L316 if I get around to catching the little guys.

I had a L46 and a L260 have a batch a few years ago and thought about entering one of the offspring in the show. They're pretty cool but wasn't sure if that was allowed. Can't say I've seen any hybrids in the show tanks before but thought it seemed fitting based on the theme.
