Hi there, feel free to use the pics of the fish, but I would really just
like to know wht kind of cat it is. I think it looks like your image of
<I>Synodontis budgetti</I>, but its hard to tell.

Nope, that's not S. budgetti, which has distinct projections on the humeral process like S. acanthomias (only not as numerous). Overall morphology is very like S. gambiensis, but the coloration is a little too mottled (S. gambiensis is a uniformly-colored species).
