Re: "Not authorized to access this topic"
What did you do to get to that post?
The particular message you indicate was moved to the hidden "spam" section, where we "quarantine" anyones posts that we consider spam. So, yes, it's not available to you, or to the Searchbots, but it is available to Moderators.
If you REALLY want to see the meaningless post with a link Lake District Hotels, then I suppose I could send you a copy as a PM.
Unfortunately, we have had a quite a few posts like that in the last few days.

Re: "Not authorized to access this topic"
I only clicked on the "To view the most recent Posts" link in the notification e-mail. It only has been happening infrequently but it was puzzling me. I normally have no trouble as I did not in getting back here.

Re: "Not authorized to access this topic"
Ah, that makes some sense. If you have received an e-mail saying "there has been a post in this thread", then it has a link to the latest post. If that post happens to be a spam post, AND someone has moved that post before you get to read it, then this sort of message pops up.
You are doing nothing wrong, and if we didn't have spammers, there wouldn't be this problem. Unfortunately, it appears that we are getting quite a few of them right now.
