Arkansas River, Pueblo CO

Post by torbanite »

The Amazon it aint, but it's a river & it has catfish. :-)
Photos were taken approximately here just along from the
Nature and Raptor Center Pueblo, Colorado.
Various types of fish including Channel Catfish inhabit the river in this area.

It was way too hot (90'F) & sunny for a North European like me, so I had to retreat to the car after just an hour.

Didn't see any fish, catfish or otherwise but there were a few folk fishing. Lots of strange 'critters', unfamiliar plants/trees & the biggest ants I ever set eyes on.

Somedays you get lucky. Somedays you don't. But, still I wish I was there with a net! :D
