24 hours LFS

Post by caril »

just curious,
are there any 24hrs LFS in other countries?
24hr LFS are increasing in numbers in singapore due to popular responses.

I don't open 24hrs (not yet anyway) but feel I do. Looking after all these cats and other fish can sometimes be tiring.

it can be quite stressful for the fishes since the lights are on 24hr and they don't have any proper rest with people walking pass their tanks round the clock.
one of the LFS here don't even have a proper tank to house the imported plecos.
those poor fellows are kept in small plastic bags, tied up and with air leaking from it.

I would love for such a thing to exist where I live. Here we are lucky to have a 24 hour grocery store! ;) I work midnights, and I have to sacrifice sleep on day when I want to visit my LFS :(

well.... it provides convenience. heheh ... can't say no to anything that provides convenience.

imagine this ... It's late. you're bored. nothing's happening in any of the forums. nothing good on tv. not up for gaming. what do you think off? 24hrs LFS! you get there. It's quiet. Cool (as in temperature) .... and you have the shop to yourself! And the retailer! So you can ask as many questions as you want and you get good service too!

I found it absolutely great!

i agree with polkadot and philtre.
but from the fishes point of view, i think the fishes are hoping that someone could buy them so that they can transfer away from the 24hr daylight prison.
