I've wanted a L200 for some time now. Not familiar with the juveniles I shelled out $50 for this guy instead of $20 for what they labeled as an emperor. Well I doubt this is either species for L200. Anybody know what this little guy might be?

It was sold to me as a "Yellow Spotted Pleco" and they also stated it was L200.

spot size is very variable and cannot be used to differentiate 201 from contradens alone. Based on body shape (flat), and the spacing between spots, I'd call this L201.

I second this. Its still a nice find, seems like all you see anymore is Contradens.
