New feeding behavior seen in brachyrhamdia meesi.

Post by knifegill »

This is new to me and I don't see it in the profile notes. My brachyrhamdia meesi was just observed to disturb gravel near a powerhead and then quickly bolt downstream eating the small bits that he'd thrown out of it. He then repeated the act, though there wasn't much more debris to scare up (my gravel gets vacuumed twice a week). Is this something they are known to do or is my fish just lucky to have discovered it?
An opportunity to routinely impose a statement... I'll pass. ;)

I don't know if it's unusual, I keep mine on sand.
