Pterygoplichthys <-> Glyptoperichthys ?

Post by kgroenhoej »

Hi,

Wonder why it's Glyptoperichthys and not Pterygoplichthys in the Cat-eLog - considering the latest threads about Panaque <-> Panaqolus (btw: I like the idea of Panaqolus being a subgenus of Panaque).

This is something that will probably be rectified in the future, once the big loricariid paper of Armbruster's is published.
