Papa Panaque or L329?

I got an email by Daniel Matthäus the guy from Amazon-exotic-imports and he says that "L186a" although invalid is this fish and that it gets black when growing big with papa Panaque like fins.And that he has one at his shop!
So if i understood him right "L186a" is the juvenile stage of the charcoal pleco!?
