description challange

Post by magnum4 »

This is a little challange, is a description i was given regarding a pleco a friend had seen in a shop and wondered if i was interested in purchasing however it took me so long to work out what i think he had described, it had been sold

what would you all make of this description...

"when it was stuck on the front glass it made the shape of a cross"

My first thought was Hara jerdoni, but they're not plecos and they don't really stick to the front glass, but maybe the description wasn't given by someone even remotely knowledgable as far as catfish are concerned. At least those I had years ago looked very much like small crosses when they were swimming around in the tank.
