Ariid ID corrected

The fish in this photograph is Hexanematichthys sagor, not Arius sona (which should be Hemiarius sona, BTW).

Should all be done now. One new species added (Hexanematichthys sagor) and renamed Arius sona to Hemiarius sona.

Very easy. Hexanematichthys sagor is the only (Asian?) ariid that has pronounced banding on the body in life.

It's even illustrated by Bleeker in his Atlas (as Arius sondaicus, a junior synonym of H. sagor).

I am pretty sure it's estuarine.

It's unfortunately a coastal/estuarine species (very young fish may survive for some time in fresh water). The banding is considerably more subdued when the fish is in water (and not so stressed).

This is a relatively large species for a coastal ariid, too. I just measured a 0.5 m (SL) specimen today for something I am working on.
