Cats in a SA cichlid 220

Post by mister malcontent »

Newbie here so please excuse my ignorance. Have been running a 220g CA / SA cichlid community tank with mainly bigger more aggressive fish for 4 years now. Pair of Jags, pair of Midas, Tri Mac , Chocolate etc. Anyway I have been selling and trading away most of these fish in order to have a SA only tank and have added a 7" Long fin Oscar and 3 Cichla Mono about 12" alongside the 15" TSN x RT that I already have. There is also a 14" common pleco in there. Anyway I want to trade the TSN X RT for a 12" Lima and also add a couple of Megaladorus Irwini at about 8" that I have in another tank to the mix. If this all works also a small group of medium Geos. By the way the PB and Lima are pellet trained the TSN X RT is most certainly not ! Any thoughts on problems I may encounter along the way.Looking to house the 3 PB,1 Choc,1 Oscar,1 Lima, 2 Mega,1 Pleco and the 3 or 4 Geos. Any advice is most welcome. Thanks

I think your tank is and will be far overstocked. But I'n not certain, as you use all kinds of names for the fishes I can't place

Please do remember over 50 % of the people on this forum are not native English speaking. Therefore the use of the Latin names is highly appreciated
