Off time
I understand that the aquarium hobby is one of great patience. One with long waits of maturity and son and so forth. My question to you guys and gals is what do you do with your off time from aquariums to keep you busy. I find it hard sometimes to keep my hands out of my tanks I have so many!!!

Re: Off time
Refill the water butt - Always a good use of time and means in 36 hours I have room temp high O2 water ready for use.
Work - Sadly needed to fund the hobby.
DIY - Always something / cleaning out.
Research - Looking for new kit, plants and setups. Allot of information exists on many things and its hard work telling what would work well for me.
Updating my rather naff spread sheet - I use it to keep track of roughly how many CM of fish in a tank to the number of litres it has. While its not accurate as such it prevents a massive over stock of any one tank and helps me maintain an overall balance.
Fix dry goods - Sometimes I pass the time by silicone sticking my plants back together.
Watch my tanks - My 2ft is currently my favourite as it has my new prize fishes in it. This is not to say I am not loving of my other tanks just that I like my new additions a great deal and am very proud of them. They are nothing special but to me they are as its a new type of cat fish I am keeping.
Trips out - Although we all have our favourite stores for dry goods or fish I like to get to the odd new one now and again.
