Can you please identify this Whiptail, is it Sturisoma or a loricaria, could you also explain how to tell the difference between to two. P.S. It's sand not whitespot

Hi,

definitely not !
This is H. parva:

H. parva never has such pronounced cheek odontodes and (which is not visible in the pics) two filaments in the caudal fin.

I would say Hemiloricaria eigenmanni is a good call.
