This looks like Silurichthys sp. to me. Anyone disagree or want to try for species?

Yes Silurichthys, probably hasseltii

Thank you Silurus, That firms me up on genus. When I got the fish 3 weeks ago it was at 2inches" it seems to have grown a little since. I'm keeping it in warm acidic conditions. If you have any other advice on maintenance I'd be appreciative.

I'll update if this fish grows much bigger.

I don't suppose you can get any more, but they seem to be more comfortable in a group.

Yeah, the owner bought a group of a dozen but he said all perished save 2. While I was researching weather to buy, 1 sold so I bought the last one. I'll be going back to check if he ordered more.
