I have 6 (4m, 2f) that are now mature, and over the last few days, one of the males has built a bubble nest. Yesterday one of the females spawned with him, so it seems they are all well and truly ready

Now, I don't expect to save any fry from this spawning and I don't intend to try - my fry tank has 20 cory juveniles in it and my next tank has not yet arrived so I'm not set up for more babies right now. But I do want to raise some in the near future, so I'd like any tips and tricks anyone can give me about how best to do it

At present they are in a 30g with gold barbs and a bristlenose but the new tank is also around 30g (UK gallons), I was thinking I could get it set up, let it mature a bit and let some water lettuce cover the surface (they really like that in their current setup as I let it grow thick so it darkens things down) then put them in there to spawn. That would be the most sensible approach I'm guessing, then the fry could just stay in there to grow
