Thank you, HH. So, I assume you think uranoscopus because Megalodoras guayoensis likely does not enter the trade, right?
The body, head, and fin shape I thought too were of a M. uranoscopus. The coloration threw me off.
Does anyone else find this coloration markedly far from that of the irwinies we usually see in the trade?

Coincidence that I just opened the new (may 2014) Journal of the Catfish Study Group and there is an article by Mark Sabaj Perez where he discusses a third Megalodoras yet undescribed which they believe
