looking for catfish ideas

Post by donk »

so my plan is a Peru/Ecuador biotope with Green terror(A. Rivulatus) looking for tank mates from: Pacific slope from the Esmeraldas River in Ecuador to the Tumbes River in Peru. However Im having a hard time getting information regarding fish from locations. i can settle for something close by they *may* coexist with a Green terror in the wild. im not totally sure on a pair or a single green terror yet but im leaning more towards under stocking.

Tank is 125G 6' with a 55G sump. decor will likely consist of driftwood, sand and floating plants. but some bottom dwellers would be nice

I'm not sure I can find anything suitable from either the Esmeraldas or Tumbes to suggest.

I would say it would need some cover for cats to go with Green Terrors & it needs to be either quite heavily armoured or boisterous & swift - so something like pteradoras or pseudacanthicus (armoured) or Rhamdia quelen (boisterous & swift)

Others may have a different view?
Lou: Every young man's fantasy is to have a three-way.
Jacob: Yeah not with another fu**!ng guy!
Lou: It's still a three-way!
