Could the cory be ? I don't know how it differs from C. sipaliwini; perhaps @Coryman could explain as he created the CW number.

Re: ID this Banjo catfish & cory fm Suriname
Hi,
the saddle snouted cory is C. geoffroy, correct.
The short snouted ones are in fact two species, I assume that they came from the same source as the ones Nick van Lier imported to the Netherlands. Six of them are CW114 and the one by-catch doesn't have any valid name or number.
You could call it Corydoras cf. coppenamensis, it's the pale one. Once they are settled you will see differences not only in the pattern but also in the body proportions.
Cheers,

Re: ID this Banjo catfish & cory fm Suriname
That Banjo Catfish looks to be Bunocephalus coracoideus but as is the case with fish, they can look remarkably similar but if they have two extra dorsal spines then they are often listed as a different species. There are many different kinds of Banjo Catfish, I have been looking at the list of Catfish on this very site and there are no fewer than 6 Banjo Catfish listed but only Bunocephalus coracoideus is listed with some information (they do have pictures though so, you can always match them up and go from there but I don't know what else to suggest other than get a magnifying glass and a professional description and matching it up as best you can
