I have a 40g breeder planted thats been maturing for a couple months and am about ready to stock. I was planning on a species tank w/ 5 S. Lucipinnis but as theres some extra room i was hoping that i could find an interesting fish to keep with them, pref from the same biotope (Tangs, water conditions etc etc).
I was originally thinking shellies but they tend to dig a bunch and heard stories about Julis torturing the synos.
Does anyone have any experience keeping these awesome cats with any of the smaller cichlids in a 40b and if so which ones?
If the general consensus is the tank is too small for lucipinnis (dont think it is) ill prob switch to something south american with a pair of Crenicichla Regani. If you have any thoughts on fun cats i could keep with them that would be appreciated also =)
P.s. Thanks in advance and sorry for the brain dump
