Venezuelan Cory ballooned

Post by nurbo »

Hello, the photo shows one of my Venezuelan Corydoras, we thought this one was pregnant but (We think it's a she) she's looked like this for a couple of weeks now, her behaviour hasn't changed, maybe she rests a little more, she looks fine and has no problem swimming. Should I be worried? db

Hi nurbo,

Ouch that looks very abnormal. Although it could be fat from overeating, I've never seen a cory that fat. How long have you had the fish? Did it always look like this?

Please look at the pinned post in this thread. It requests some background info to help us figure out what's going on.
