Centromochlus perugiae

Post by ajw9356 »

I just found my first spawn of my perugiae! The eggs are nice and plump with female guarding them.
They are in with other Plecos and I’m wondering if I should keep them somewhere else? Or if I pull them, do I have to keep them in an egg tumbler? Just a nube trying to get it figured out. Thanks in advance for any help.

Congratulations! Some people leave eggs with mom, but I would take eggs and put them in a tumbler or fry basket to hatch.

The nice thing about perugiae is that after they spawn once, they usually spawn again. So if you mess up the first time, you should get more eggs later.

Good luck!
